Sample Applications

This section describes the sample applications that are provided with the SDK and describes where they are located. These applications provide insight into different aspects of a number of customizations.

• External Security:

  This comprehensive sample application utilizes the MicroStrategy Web products' flexible External Security Plug-in that allows it to integrate with the security mechanism of your choice.  

• Session Creation in a .NET Environment:

  This sample application allows you to create a MicroStrategy Intelligence Server session in a .NET environment. This is particularly useful when you want to use MicroStrategy SDK for customizing MicroStrategy Web in a .NET environment.  

• Single Sign-on Sample:

  This application demonstrates how you can customize authentication to provide a single sign-on experience to your MicroStrategy Web users.

• Thick Client:

  This application demonstrates how MicroStrategy Web can be embedded into a third-party application, which uses the URL API to display MicroStrategy content within .NET browser controls.
