Adding a New Toolbar

This topic provides step-by-step instructions on a new toolbar to a MicroStrategy Web page.

  1. Launch the Web Customization Editor.  

  2. Click MicroStrategy Web Configuration inside the Application Settings view to expand the hierarchical tree. The expanded list comprises the different settings that can be modified to perform customizations.  

  3. Click Toolbars to expand the list of toolbars used in MicroStrategy Web.  

  4. Right-click any DHTML toolbar (indicated by the letter "D") and select New Toolbar.  

  5. On the New Toolbar dialog, enter the name for the new toolbar and click OK. The new toolbar is added under Toolbars.  

  6. Right-click the new toolbar and select New Toolbar Element to launch the New Toolbar Element wizard.  

  7. Fill in the information for the new item in the New Toolbar Element wizard as described in Adding a New Button to a Toolbar.  

  8. Click Next.  

  9. Click Finish.
