Retrieve Data from the Intelligence Server Using the JSON Data API

You can use the Reports API, the Cubes API and the Dossiers API to retrieve definitions and data from the Intelligence Server. Together, they are often referred to as the JSON Data API. They are part of the MicroStrategy REST Server, which is shipped inside the MicroStrategyLibrary.war web application.

Prior to MicroStrategy 10.10, there was a standalone server called the JSON Data API Server, which was deployed as an executable jar file. This standalone server has been deprecated.
