Backwards compatibility issues with the new 9.3.x MicroStrategy Web interface

While a primary goal is to maintain backward compatibility to the greatest extent possible with each release, in some cases this is not possible and previous customizations may no longer work. For example, the new 9.3.x MicroStrategy Web interface causes some backward compatibility issues as a result of changes including, but not limited to, those listed below:

As a result of changes like those listed above, previous customizations may not upgrade properly. In such cases, you can remove the plug-in for the new interface to ensure that the customizations can be upgraded. Go to the plugins folder in your MicroStrategy installation directory and remove the plug-in called _interface. Zip and save the plug-in in case you want to use the new interface in the future.

Note: Some or all of the screenshots and scenario instructions in this section may reflect the pre-9.3.0 interface.
